The Florida Election Commission recently issued an advisory opinion to ActBlue applying Florida law to the group’s efforts to raise contributions for state candidates.   The opinion basically holds that ActBlue must register as a Florida political committee and imposes other requirements.   The group does not appear to be registered with the Florida Elections Division under variations of “ActBlue” and has apparently ceased raising funds for candidates for state office in Florida.
