Wyoming is considering an increase in contribution limits, according to this report.

Dan Neal, executive director of the Equality State Policy Center, a Laramie-based policy watchdog group, said in an interview after the hearing that the $2,300 cap is too high.

He said campaign costs have not risen sufficiently in Wyoming in recent years to justify the increase.

“Our basic feeling is that if you look at the average cost in Wyoming by race, you really haven’t increased in cost,” Neal said. “We just don’t see a problem that has to be solved.”
