Today’s Brennan Center event (New Horizons for Reform) lived up to its impressive list of speakers and panelists.

The SEIU’s John Sullivan (pictured at right) was in the audience and I had the pleasure of meeting him briefly.  On May 1, 2009, President Obama announced his intent to nominate Mr. Sullivan to a position on the Federal Election Commission.
