As I noted earlier, Washingtonian features a report on lawyers this month, including an article by Above the Law’s Kashmir Hill and David Lat on why lawyers earn so much.  What would a good Washingtonian package be without lists?  And campaign finance and election law enthusiasts won’t be disappointed.  White House Counsel Robert Bauer is number 11 on the magazine’s list of 30 “stars of the bar.”  (The piece was apparently prepared while he was still a partner at Perkins Coie.)  There’s even a full-page picture of Mr. Bauer.
