Over the course of the year I’ve posted a number of stories about new ethics, lobbying, and campaign finance proposals in Massachusetts.  Some of the state’s new law is set to go into effect on January 1, 2010.

The campaign finance law forces new disclosures of spending on issue ads and acceptance of big donations that arrive just before elections. The law also for the first time requires campaign finance reports for municipal candidates to be posted on the Internet.
