Earmark request tracking update

As I noted yesterday, President Obama announced a new earmark request website project in the State of the Union speech.

Tonight, I’m calling on Congress to publish all earmark requests on a single website before there’s a vote so that the American people can see how their money is being spent.

I noticed I’ve linked to an “earmark tracking” website that’s probably been in my list of links for over a year.  It’s an OMB website that seems to track earmarks.  So after the new website is up, we’ll be able to track earmark requests on one site and actual earmarks on another.
