North Carolina pay to play and lobbying rules proposed

A North Carolina group is proposing pay to play and lobbying reforms and the report is here.

The N.C Coalition for Lobbying and Government Reform, which lists people and groups from across the state’s political spectrum as its members, hopes lawmakers will approve new statutes limiting how much money political parties can transfer to candidates’ campaign committees and tightening up gift bans and transparency requirements.
