DISCLOSE Act social media strategy on display

It looks like there’s a fairly well-organized effort to move The DISCLOSE Act through Congress using a little bit of social media to generate some wind in their sails.  DiscloseAct.com is a joint campaign website asking for users to sign an online petition in support of the law.  Currently there are about 24,000 names on the petition; it looks like they’ve used Organizing for America and Facebook to spread word about the proposal.  Oops, they forgot to grab @DiscloseAct on Twitter.  I just did. 😉
