Lobbyists shouldn’t feel left out; the DISCLOSE Act’s section 221 has new requirements to report:

(1) The amount of any independent expenditure (as defined in section 301(17) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (2  U.S.C. 431(17)) equal to or greater than $1,000 made by such person or organization,  and for each such expenditure the name of each candidate being supported or opposed and the amount spent supporting or opposing each such candidate; and

(2) The amount of any electioneering communication (as defined in section 304(f)(3) of such Act (2 U.S.C. 434(f)(3)) equal to or greater than $1,000 made by such person or organization, and for each such communication the name of the candidate referred to in the communication and whether the communication involved was in support of or in opposition to the candidate.
