Office of Congressional Ethics and financial regulatory reform lobbying in the news

The Times fills in more of the puzzle on the Office of Congressional Ethics’ inquiry into lobbyists’ contact with eight lawmakers during the House’s consideration of financial regulatory reform.

A letter that the office sent on June 1 to the financial industry lobbyists, a copy of which was obtained by The New York Times, asks for any correspondence between their office and the eight House members from January 2009 until this month.
