Treasury Inspector General to look at allegations officials used Koch data

The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration announced yesterday that it would investigate whether Obama Administration officials illegally accessed and disclosed confidential taxpayer information involving Koch Industries, a prominent critic of the Obama Adminstration.

The Times has a report on this today, too.

Leading Republicans are suggesting that a senior official in the Obama administration may have improperly accessed the tax records of Koch Industries, an oil company whose owners are major conservative donors.
