What the Federal Election Commission did yesterday

The Federal Election Commission met yesterday and considered a number of advisory opinion requests, including a request from Google about disclaimers on political ads.  Documents related to the meeting are available here.  (The final document to be provided to Google is not available, yet.)   The audio should be available here (but it looks like it’s a missing the audio for the latest two meetings).

Roll Call has a story here.

The final approved opinion, which did not find anything illegal about Google’s advertising plan, was passed by a 4-2 vote.
