Connecticut: Why can’t everyone be a winner?

The race for governor goes on.

Democrat Dan Malloy on Wednesday moved ahead with plans to form a transition team in anticipation of becoming Connecticut’s next governor, and the first Democrat to hold the office in two decades, after the secretary of the state said he won Tuesday’s election.

But Republican Tom Foley also announced he was forming a transition team because his numbers show he won the election, one of the closest governor’s races in state history.
