Fundraising at the Governor’s Mansion?

“Senate:  Left in Rules.”  That seems to be the operative language on the Virginia Legislative Information Website as to the fate of the bill to ban fundraising at the Governor’s executive mansion, according to this Post report.

The Democrat-controlled Virginia Senate has failed to act on a bill that would have outlawed fundraising for political candidates and causes at the executive mansion, which is the oldest occupied governor’s mansion in the United States.
