Bloomberg’s Spending, Shock and Awe

The Times examines Mayor Bloomberg’s spending on his reelection campaign compared to his last run. Mr. Bloomberg’s spending was so lopsided, political consultants said, that it suggested the campaign was focused on securing not just a triumph at the polls in November but a landslide.
