Via Sunlight Foundation Blog comes news of an interesting new project called RaceTracker. It looks like Politics1 on steroids. (But Politics1 has other offices listed.) The RaceTracker project on the OpenCongress wiki tracks every election for the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives and state governor. RaceTracker is a free, open-source, fully-referenced, and non-partisan public resource.

Per the Center for Competitive Politics’ Jeff Patch, Senate Rules advanced John Sullivan’s nomination for a spot on the Federal Election Commission yesterday. His name now appears on the Senate’s Executive Calendar.
