Undisclosed Flights for Sanford?

The AP reports that Gov. Sanford took undisclosed flights. The AP discovered 35 flights Sanford took on private planes that he did not list on state ethics forms or campaign reports. The flights are noted on Sanford’s official calendars, obtained by the AP through a Freedom of Information request.

This Times editorial discusses a corporation called Data and Field Services with allegedly close ties to a political party. The workings of the company are hard to figure out because, as a private business, its financial arrangements are not automatically transparent.
