The fund has sought information on placement agents hired by its investment partners, along with fees paid for their services, and is supporting legislation to regulate the middlemen as lobbyists.

If The Post’s Reliable Source column is going to cite a Senate rule, you know I’ll catch it. Today the column cites Rule 37’s prohibition on profiting from a Senate job in a story about Kathleen Rooney’s book, For You, For You I am Trilling These Songs. Rooney was a staffer for Sen. Durbin.
