Open government and lobbyist fees in Maryland
The Post covers the status of an open government initiative (and lobbyist fees) in Maryland. A majority of lawmakers in both chambers signed on as co-sponsors, and the bills included a funding mechanism (increased fees on lobbyists) to pay for opening up meetings to the public by streaming them live on the Internet.
