Financial regulatory reform and lobbyists

Politico’s got the story on how lobbyists did during the debate over financial regulatory reform. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce deployed 85 lobbyists, including 49 hired from outside lobbying firms. YouCut but House didn’t

The Hill has an update on Republicans’ YouCut program here. 81,000 votes were cast online and through text messages to axe $2.5 billion from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families fund, which provides cash assistance to needy families with dependent children.
