As promised by the President yesterday, White House Counsel Robert Bauer released a memorandum on the Sestak deal.  With all due deference to Mr. Bauer, isn’t this Norm Eisen territory?  (It’s Friday, as well.)  I see the memo uses the royal “we” in the second paragraph. but I think some will only be assured of the propriety of this affair after hearing Mr. Eisen’s reassuring voice.  There’s a reference to “the law” early in the document, yet no legal analysis to speak of.   Some reactions here.
