FEC Advisory Opinion Requests

The Federal Election Commission has posted some advisory opinion requests.  One is from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee/Franken for Senate (2009-04) and involves recount and contest funds.  Another involves a charitable match program (2009-03 (ICE)).  Another asks some questions about how the law treats a single member LLC (2009-02 (True Patriot Network)).

Canadians Thanked

President Obama’s message for his Canadian campaigners is getting some attention, according to this Politico report. “I want to also, by the way, thank some of the Canadians who came over the border to campaign for me during the election,” Obama said. “It was much appreciated.”
