The Federal Election Commission approved two advisory opinions yesterday. The Lautenberg opinion was approved 5-0 and the National Right to Life opinion passed 4-1, with Chairman Walther dissenting.

Under the Influence reports that the FEC will consider an advisory opinion request from Lautenberg for Senate. Edward T. Pound reports that the FEC will meet Friday to consider the matter, but the FEC website says the meeting is Thursday.
