Cao Wins
Anh Joseph Cao won his race in Louisiana against William Jefferson. Cao, along with the Republican National Committee and the Republican Party of Louisiana, is a plaintiff in a lawsuit against the Federal Election Commission.
FEC Update
On December 4, 2008, the Federal Election Commission failed to find Sen. Mike Gravel ineligible to receive public matching funds and announced that an advisory opinion from Sen. Kit Bond and his leadership PAC will be discussed on December 18, 2008. The meeting agenda is here.
