The Hill profiles lobbying related to the Olympics this morning. Nearly every interest has a lobbyist, and the Olympics are no different. Each year, lobbyists compete for funding for athletes’ training centers that provide a boost for athletes who train eight or more hours a day.
Glut of ex-lawmakers headed for K Street?
The Hill helpfully summarizes some of the top job opportunities for retiring lawmakers here today. At least four major trade associations are looking to hire for their high-profile jobs, each of which could command a salary in excess of $1 million a year.
