Here’s a helpful reminder about the year end filing obligation for the LD-203.  The reminder notes that “Presidential Inaugural Committee has been added to the list of contribution types.”

Brian Ross of ABC News is On the Money Trail talking with Sen. Reid about lobbyists here. “People should understand that lobbyists, per se, are someone’s father, mother, son, daughter,” said Reid. “They work for a living.” The Democratic leader’s sons and a son-in-law have worked as lobbyists.

BGR Group, whose clients include Verizon and Eli Lilly, hosted an event coinciding with the inaugural.  News here. “Is this a lobbying firm?” [Actor Tim] Robbins chuckled. “I thought it was an investment firm. I wouldn’t sanction or condone lobbying of any kind.”
