Lobbying Disclosure Enhancement Act passed

H.R. 5751, which was the Fees on Lobbyists Act, transformed into the Lobbying Disclosure Enhancement Act and passed the House yesterday.  It establishes a Lobbying Disclosure Enforcement Task Force to investigate and prosecute LDA cases, replaces the U.S. Attorney with the Attorney General as the recipient of LDA referrals, and provides that the Attorney General should make recommendations on LDA enforcement.
