Saxbe Fix, Clinton Fix
President Bush signed a law lowering Sec. of State-designate Hillary Clinton’s pay today. S.J.Res. 46, which reduces the compensation of the Secretary of State to the level in effect on January 1, 2007.
Safavian Found Guilty
A jury returned a guilty verdict in the trial of David Safavian. The AP has a list of some of the individuals convicted in the Abramoff scandal in the article, “People Convicted in Lobbying Scandal.”
