A Code of Official Conduct for D.C. Council members was approved today, according to The Post. The new code marks the first time since the council was formed in 1973 that members can access a unified, written ethics code.

The Post notes that the District of Columbia is considering a code of official conduct. I’ve always thought it would be useful if Lobbying, PACs, and Campaign Finance: 50 State Handbook covered what rules the District of Columbia does have.
