WRAL has a report on the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee’s activity in North Carolina.

The DLCC, a so-called 527 group, accepts and spends corporate contributions, which are unlawful for North Carolina political-action committees.

The lawsuit alleges improper reporting and failure to report by the organizations and accused them of “giving in the name of another,” which is prohibited by state law.
