A candidate in Alabama was denied a Certificate of Election after filing a late report, according to this article.

A judge ruled Tuesday afternoon that Anniston council candidate David Reddick cannot be issued a certificate of election after he was late filing required documents.

Circuit Judge John Thomason in his order said that the state Fair Campaign Practices Act dictates this penalty for filing campaign finance committee forms late.
