A new administration must, before inauguration, pay attention to every legal detail regarding staffing the transition, the funding and logistics of the candidate’s move to Washington, if necessary, the inauguration, and, of course, merely settling in to run the federal government and implement policies.  But wait… there’s a government website.

According to this report, the Obama-Biden Transition Project, a 501(c)(4), is raising money to supplement the $6.3 million in public funds he will receive.

The Senate’s Inaugural website is up and the Armed Forces Inaugural Committee is also online.  Change.gov is another source for transition news.
