California’s Fair Political Practices is apparently pursuing allegations against the Mormon Church regarding its activities related to Proposition 8.

In a letter last Friday to Fred Karger, founder of San Diego-based Californians Against Hate, Roman Porter of the state’s political watchdog agency that the commission will investigate Karger’s allegations that the Mormon Church made hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of non-monetary contributions to back Prop. 8.
