Forsyth County is debating a $60,000 contract with a lobbyist, according to this report.

“There are a whole series of questionnaires, documentation and deadlines that have to be done to be competitive,” [The Ferguson Group‘s Leslie ] Mozingo said.

“I help (communities) understand what is available, how to ask for it, the category it should be in and what is a reasonable amount. I am a specialist in knowing where these funds are and how to apply for them.”
