A tribe leader has pleaded guilty in connection with a contributions in the name of another scheme, according to this report.

Investigators alleged Marshall used individuals including members of his family and council members as “straw contributors” to make political contributions guided by Abramoff. They said Marshall then reimbursed himself and them with money from an account funded by a company hoping for a stake in any casino the tribe might build.
