New York State has taken action to ban intermediaries and lobbyists from getting involved with investments from New York State’s pension fund, according to this Times report.  “Chooch” is a reference to the film whose producer is allegedly connected to the pension charges as described here.  Auto task force chief Steven Rattner was a partner in Quadrangle, according to that report.
