AP reports that the federal government has dropped all remaining charges against James Tobin in the New Hampshire phone-jamming case.

Tobin had already been cleared of taking part in a plot to arrange more than 800 hang-up calls that jammed get-out-the-vote lines.

The government later charged him with lying to investigators.
