Office of Congressional Ethics hits lobbyists involvment with 8 lawmakers

The Hill has an article sure to startle K Street about the latest from the Office of Congressional Ethics.  According to the report, OCE is targeting K Street firms’ contact with eight lawmakers, five Republicans (Reps. John Campbell, Jeb Hensarling, Chris Lee, Frank Lucas, Tom Price) and three Democrats (Joseph Crowley, Earl Pomeroy, Mel Watt).  The OCE letter reportedly requests “wide-ranging fundraising and campaign contribution data from lobbyists about their dealings with the eight legislators dating back to the beginning of last year.”
