In Florida, lawmakers are considering a bill to limit lobbyists’ involvement in how money for hospitals should be spent.  The bill appears to be SB 556 and the amendment with the lobbyist ban is here.

An individual who qualifies as a lobbyist under s. 11.045 or s. 112.3215 may not serve as a member of the [Medicaid Low-Income Pool Council].
